What is the CAM?
The Cam –conditional access module- is a small optional component to be inserted in appropriate Common Interface slot that is present on many TV sets. The smart card should be inserted into the CAM to decode encrypted programmes.
What does the SmarCAM tivùsat do?
If you have a certified tivùsat television you can access the tivùsat satellite platform via the SmarCAM tivùsat. The tivùsat smart card is included in the package.
I already have a satellite decoder with CAM compatible with the Nagravision system. Can I receive tivùsat anyway or do I need an appropriate decoder?
At present the only Cam module certified by tivùsat is the tivùsat, SmarCAM . tivùsat does not guarantee the correct functioning of its card if it is inserted in other CAM modules.
